Jed is coming to discuss college applications trends and help you make informed decisions regarding testing and the major differences and similarities between the ACT and the SAT tests. The Academic Booster Club and Applerouth Tutoring is once again offering a prep class for the ACT. Classes will be held at Wheeler over 8 Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm - 4:30pm starting on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Each student will take 2 mock test, one on September 7 and another on October 19 to tailor the sessions to the groups needs.

The Academic Booster Club is once again offering a prep class for the SAT. Classes will be held at Wheeler over 6 Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm - 4:30pm starting on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Each student will be given their own set of Princeton Review materials, including practice tests.
Fee is $275.

On Saturday, September 7, 2019, the Wheeler Academic Booster Club and Applerouth Tutoring will offer a full length practice test under the same testing condition as the real thing. Scores will NOT be sent to colleges, they are provided to students to help decide which test is best for them and where additional prep is needed.
Applerouth will provide a free review session at Wheeler on September 17 at 7pm in the Media Center

As final exams approach, the Wheeler ABC and HS Counseling Office would like to share Ms. Moudgal's presentation: "Managing Stress and Getting Ready for Finals Exams.” Students and parents will benefit from Ms. Moudgal's timely and candid discussion about how to recognize and manage stress and her best practices to prepare for final exams.
For the twentieth year, the Wheeler Academic Booster Club will present a special award to two Wheeler Teachers/Counselors who have gone “Above & Beyond,” giving their time and talents to help and encourage the students of Wheeler High School.

All Wheeler HS parents and students are invited to hear Ms. Sumana Mougdal, Wheeler HS Magnet counselor, discuss “How to prepare for Finals, EOC’s and AP Exams -- General Study Strategies and Managing Stress" at the Wheeler ABC spring business meeting, Tuesday, March 26, at 6:00 pm, in the Wheeler HS Media Center. As the end of the school year approaches, many students will have a substantial workload as well as other demands on their time, such as participation in sports, clubs, and part-time jobs. Join us as Ms. Mougdal provides guidance on how to help students manage time, effectively prepare for exams and minimize related stress. We look forward to seeing you.
