Wheeler receives recognition for AP Program

State School Superintendent Richard Woods has named Wheeler an:

  • AP Merit School for having at least 20 percent of the total student population taking AP exams and at least 50 percent of all AP exams earning scores of 3 or higher
  • AP STEM School for having students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses
  • AP STEM Achievement School for having students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses and at least 40 percent of exam scores on AP math and science exams of 3 or higher
  • AP Humanities School for having students testing in the following AP courses: at least one ELA course; two social science courses, one fine arts course and one world language course

Representatives from various colleges and universities throughout Georgia and the greater southeastern region will attend. Break out sessions will include: Navigating Financial Aid, Transitioning to College for Students with Learning Disabilities, and other topics relevant to the college transition.

This event is open to all students and parents.
 

Mock Test Results

The scores for the mock tests students took on February 4 and February 11 are available online through Applerouth Tutoring. Simply log on using your registration information to get a breakdown of the scores by test section. 

Honor Roll Stickers

Honor Roll students: Bring your ids to lunch on Wednesday, February 15 to get your NEW honor roll discount cards! The new cards don't expire until September 19 so you can use them all summer at Brusters, El Taco, J Christopher's, Peace, Love and Pizza, Righteous 'Que, and Zaxby's (Lower Roswell location.)
