Academic Letter Recipients
Each fall, the Academic Booster Club holds a recognition ceremony to honor students who earned a 4.0 or above grade point average (GPA) for both semesters the previous year. Students receive letters, pins, and certificates. This letter is the same one given to students who letter in a sport, except it has the lamp of knowledge symbol. Students who repeat the academic accomplishment receive a lamp pin to place on their letter the second year, and a bar pin the third year, to recognize that no matter how high their teachers set the bar, they were able to ascend to it.
